How can the US maintain it's supremacy?

Reading the Wikipedia's list of future gdp of all countries, I was surprised that by 2016, China will overtake the US and the European Union.I personally don't think that in so few years this would happen, but in approximate 10-15 year, China will sure overtake the US if nothing happens.What does the US do to solve it's problems and maintain it's supremacy.I am not from the US, but I can't imagine a World where the United States of America isn't the most powerful country.Why? Simply because I am not a fan of communism and in my opinion the US has all it takes to be the World's superpower.How come you have such a rich country and you can not continue what so many grate politicians, scientists and specialists did.
