HELP!!! please, me and my girl, but her DAD is not helpin :\?

I have same same problem. People say that you marry the family but I disagree. When you and your wife live in YOUR OWN HOUSE nobody except you two are going to be there so screw him. But the respect issue is if you have tried talking to him and being civil and it is still a no then screw him. It is YOUR/YOUR WIFE'S life dad not included.
