How do I help my dog with her food agression?

my dog has a food agression.its where if she has food that taes a bit longer to eat, like a slice of bread,she goes into hiding and eats it slowly.if you try to take it away she growls hard and bites you veryy hard.i have been working on helpin her and making progress,but i could use a little advice.
